For a full body, non-harmful skin lightener, many women use skin lightening body washes. All though they are stronger than your average Dove body wash, moderate to frequent usage will not harm your skin. Of course with any new product you should test the product on a smaller patch of skin first.
Any substance with a foam texture is super light and well absorbed through the skin. Skin lightening body washes tend to lather up much easier than soap lighteners and are ideal if you worry about uneven color due to bad application.
You may be able to find skin lightening body washes at your local grocery store but the results will be very minimal. The best body washes for skin lightening purposes contain strong but safe amounts of lightening agents such as Kojic Acid, Tea Tree Oil, and an abundance of other botanical brighteners.
It is recommended to let the body wash sit and soak for 3-5 minutes, and applied more generously on darker problem areas like elbows and knees. Most can be applied to the face as well, just remember to be gentle and use sparingly around the eyes. Many skin lightening body washes are reported to cause a mild tinging sensation when applied, this should not burn or be painful. It may be best to dilute the product with water if you feel it is too strong for your skin.
Like any other skin lightening products that exfoliate the skin, thorough moisturizing is recommended in order to keep the skin from drying out. Proper sunscreen should also be used when outdoors.
